Project Description
Colombian culture is a collaborative projection mapping project created with my friend Andres Franco, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Colombia. The installation is a vibrant, dynamic spectacle that brings the energy and color of Colombian carnivals and festivals to life through digital media.
Using MadMapper for projection mapping and Modul8 as a real-time video mixer, the project transforms ordinary surfaces into dynamic canvases filled with imagery inspired by traditional Colombian motifs, folk dances, and spirit of local celebrations. The visuals are synchronized to music and soundscapes that evoke the rhythms of Colombia creating an immersive sensory experience.
The project aims to honor and share the joy, diversity, and creativity of Colombian culture. By blending cutting-edge technology with cultural storytelling, “ Colombian culture” invites viewers to step into a world of celebration and connection, highlighting the importance of cultural identity and collective joy in an increasingly digital world.
